Do UFOs Even Matter?

Here’s a question for you. Do UFOs even matter any more?

After all, there are many things going on in our world that demand our attention. If we open our favorite news source on the Web, watch TV news, or just talk to an intelligent friend, there is more than enough news crammed in there to occupy our attention. Sure, much of what passes for news is completely useless, little more than trivial celebrity gossip or worse. Still, more than enough of it is serious.

We have a world that is spiraling out of control.

Warfare, political unrest, and armed factions around the world continue to kill millions worldwide, while leaving scarred landscapes and ecosystems in the wake.

We face ecological disasters of ever-greater magnitudes. Water depletion and desertification are not going away. The oceans are stressed to the point where scientists are worried about their ability to continue supporting the abundance of life they have done for millions of years. Plus, over-fishing has caused the collapse of many key species of ocean fish. A little fact to take home with you: over 70 percent of the world’s fish species are either fully exploited or depleted. There’s deforestation: enough said. We face ongoing food crises and species extinction rates that are alarming.

As if that were not bad enough, we are in a global financial crisis that can well last beyond this decade, and that is according to the mainstream economic experts, which is much more optimistic than many other voices. A few national economies have become insolvent, and many others teeter at the edge, including the world’s largest economy, the United States.

Then there is the spectre of globalization, worldwide control over our resources and lives by privately-owned, internationally-based corporations, and the continued outsourcing of jobs from one part of the world to another.

And please let us not forget the spectre of a global police state, of global fascism. Don’t say this is alarmist. Without a vote, without even a discussion, privacy has become a thing of the past. You may not be able to access every email you’ve ever written, but the National Security Agency’s new Utah Data Collection Center can. Perhaps you can stroll over there and ask for your 2003 emails. If you do, you would most likely be told that such information is classified as a matter of national security.

We live in a world in which basic rights for all global citizens — including for Americans, who always thought they were immune — are vanishing. Truly, we now live within a National Security State.

Perhaps, you might think, with all this going on, aren’t UFOs and Little Grey Men the least of our worries?

Well, I am here to tell you that UFOs do matter. Just as the above problems matter, so does this one.

For UFOs represent a problem quite unique in our world, and one that is truly revolutionary.

As yourself, what is it that can allow an aerial object to hover motionlessly, accelerate instantly like a bullet, zigzag or maneuver in other seemingly impossible ways, and consistently outperform military fighter jets that try to intercept them? Objects which, moreover, have been able to disable many of our key electronics and technologies, seemingly with ease?

What is the science that allows for such a thing? What might be the source of energy of these objects? And if they do not originate from our own civilization, who are these other beings and how the heck did they get here? How could any of this be possible?

There are important political questions, as well. After all, if this is real, would that mean there is a cover-up? And even if we don’t know for sure whether or not there is one, shouldn’t we investigate the possibility? I mean really investigate it, not simply accept curt dismissals and denials by government talking heads.

If were to turn out that there is a cover-up (which, um, yes there is), we ought to be asking ourselves how it might possibly work. After all, there are so many nations, so much communication via the Web. Could it really be possible to keep this secret? Or is it a situation in which the secret isn’t so much kept as managed?

And the other beings that presumably are involved in this phenomenon. We can extrapolating their reality not only from the existence of UFOs themselves (although that’s certainly reasonable to do), but through the many, many stories of contact that people have claimed to have had with non-human beings associated with UFOs. Admittedly such stories don’t constitute proof. But there are just so many of them. So many. What might it mean that highly intelligent beings are here, interacting with us in some way on Planet Earth?

There are larger issues relating to UFOs, as well. For I have come to believe that studying the UFO phenomenon enables us, as it were, to pry open some doors to a world that has been closed off to all but a very few.

In the process, a proper understanding of UFOs may very well help us to understand ourselves, to understand our destiny, and, quite possibly, to save ourselves.

More on this soon.

  • Andrew Ackerley says:

This is a perfect summation of the facts. Nobody is scaremongering here! UFOs are real & perhaps if the PTB won’t come clean, then maybe we’ll have to find a way of providing the answers ourselves. Please keep up the good work.

    • kevin says:

what matters is that ufo’s represent the obscuration that has been the lie and false history which has made both a mockery and cancer of the false presentation rammed down the throats of the best intentioned of humanity, in short the complete falsification of Reality. This is the true face of Evil. Only the higher power can relieve them from such an atrocity, we can only ferret out the truth, live or die in freedom no matter what.

  • Catherine Stark says:

I agree with Andrew Ackerley !! I think the bigger issue is not the UFO per se but the the backlash by the public once disclosure is accomplished. We have been lied to , tax money used for covering up , and this bound to make the citizens of the planet hot toddy mad!! Our history and identity will have to be reorganized and rewritten. How do we dispense justice to all the liars and the people who killed the innocent to propetuate these lies? DO WE SENTENCE THESE LIARS TO 100 years of underwater basketweaving ? If you remember Watergate , then you know how long it takes for the truth to unfold. The UFO coverup could take a 100 years to document the truth.

One might say that in the broad scope of things, the UFO phenomenon includes both the continuing world-wide reports of encounters with paranormal strangeness, and the wider spectrum of reactions to those reports in society. The bottom line is that a percentage of humanity is reporting experiences that must be accounted for, one way or another. Continuous accumulation of anomalous data that challenges one’s worldview simply cannot be swept under the rug, or in other words, ignorance is not bliss.

  • Owlwoman says:

    Yes, I think they do.
It’s one of the longest running mysteries of mankind. I really don’t get the people that show no interest whatsoever in the topic. Ufology in the Western world is so locked into the scientific aspects of the question, yet no major breakthoughs are occurring. Perhaps looking at it through a more indiginous viewpoint would answer some of the questions.

  • It's Undeniable says:

The story of humanity can be conceived as ever larger social entities. First there were tribes. And then city states and nation states. Now we are truly one united global economy. The subprime bubble bursts and the rest of the world falters, which in turn fuels the fire. We are hubristic in our comfortable notion that we are the ‘highest’ form of life in the universe. It is a Chosen People mentality. UFOs represent the fact that this most certainly not the case. If their existence exerts beyond plausible deniability, the global zeitgeist will change forever, and the tools of the powerful will be rendered impotent. We are transitioning, one way or another, into a steady state global economic reality as the ‘growth’ demanded by capitalism causes it to devour itself. The question is, how much collateral damage will scar the world for future generations. Since the dawn of the Cold War the mystery of the UFOs sits at the center of it all.

    • Stojan Karlusic says:

Well said. We are becoming one global community. And that is not a bad thing. Do we want a global totalitarian state or a global state based on the rule of dignity and freedom?

Oh by the way, the UFOs ARE the issue of the 21st century. This will not be the Asian Century, or the American Century, European Century etc… This will be the century of the Alien presence here on Earth, and Humanity’s attempt to interact and if necessary to drive off this influence from the Earth if necessary. The PTB are nothing compared to what the ETs are capable of. People like Rockefeller, Kissinger, Rothschild, Bilderbergers etc… are merely annoying flies in my soup. The ETs are the real deal.

  • Shepherd Johnson says:

The answers to the mystery of UFOs are contained in U.S. Government documents. Of this I’m certain. Some of these have been made public but I’m convinced that many classified documents concerning UFOs remain unattainable in the archives of various alphabet soup agencies in Washington D.C.

    • Gauri says:

Speaking of “the detection of eextaterrrstrial life”…it may take a long time before mainstream science gets over its reluctance to take seriously the mysterious objects (as always, whatever they are) that are flying around in our skies, but what about the private sector? There are daring and innovative billionaires on this planet who are well positioned to take the lead in serious UFO/UAP research. Sir Richard Branson obviously comes to mind, but I have no idea what his views are on the subject (I do hope he has read Leslie Kean’s book!). The Virgin Atlantic website shows that they currently have 29 aircraft and another 24 on order. If all of these aircraft were fitted with recording magnetometers (in case of a nearby encounter) and multi-directional recording of the skies (visible, night vision, infrared/thermal), it could produce some interesting results. Having camcorders available in the cockpits might make sense, but pilots would have to be trained to use them only when it is safe to do so (if they encounter a UFO they have passenger safety to think about). What is interesting is that Virgin Galactic could be starting their space tourism flights within about 18 months. Their WhiteKnightTwo (WK2) plane would carry SpaceShipTwo to 50,000 feet. SpaceShipTwo would then climb to 360,000 feet. Perhaps this, at least initially, could attract the ‘attention’ of UFOs? If Space Station and Shuttle crews are seeing anything interesting up there, it is likely easy to keep them quiet about it. There would be no need for the private sector to keep quiet about it. In fact, it may be good for business.

  • Stojan Karlusic says:

Did it ever occur to you guys the the ETs may be the main drivers of the negative events occurring here on Earth? Just a thought.

    • Pat McKown says:

Yes, it is very possible, there is a strangeness about them, that suggests a link to more strangeness. Strangeness begets strangeness.

  • dale elsen says:

My son’s generation is ready to handle the truth. The trans-national organization(s) can’t keep this lid on generation after generation. Also, as Richard Dolan says, it should be too much stress for those in control to live and stride among both our world and the break-away civilization world. Just imagine being unable to help a family member who is suffering when you know the cure in the break-away world.

  • Pat McKown says:

“a proper understanding of UFOs may very well help us to understand ourselves, to understand our destiny, and, quite possibly, to save ourselves.”

Being someones “lab rat” is an odd way to find your destiny, with the exception maybe of the Secret of Nimh. I used to raise and sell lab rats. My positive expectations flounder at switching places with them.

Magnetism, plasma, electricity. Navigating the space between atoms? Maybe they don’t use fission or fusion as we know it.

What is the science that allows for such a thing? What might be the source of energy of these objects? And if they do not originate from our own civilization, who are these other beings and how the heck did they get here? How could any of this be possible?

    Plasma science, electric-plasma universe?

Consider that the probable immense time and effort involved to develop such technology even though technology for us recently seems be accelerating, it probably understates the time dwarfed for us as a distinct species even if theirs accelerated too.

These sightings are probably only parts of the phenomena’s capabilities and it is on the order of glass beads to barbarians, compared to the significance of the struggle between minds and flesh on a personal level, which they apparently manipulate willfully too.

Your breakaway folks, may we assume they are free or may they just appear to be? How do we know for sure? We don’t know who they are or where they are really.

Based on what this phenomena has demonstrated, the breakaway folks more likely have been tethered or leashed and given some amazing toys (to us) to play with. They are probably less than toys to them and human kind gets new toys they don’t always want to share them. It might be more than that though. It might not have anything to do with not wanting to share.

The phenomena reportedly has a way of bringing out the child in adults. I think it is fair to assume for now, that people don’t always act favorably within their fullest capacities and through the disciplined training their societies bestowed upon them in the presence of this phenomena. They are in effect put on hold, literally for whatever time and purpose the phenomena sees fit.

It is very likely the breakaway society, can’t breakaway.

  • Charles Bryant says:

I have felt for some time that there may be a connection between subjects covered by Alex Jones, i.e., the drive for global government, false flag events including 9-11, population reduction, etc. — and the ET/UFO reality. What if the ET’s had said to their contacts “We’re not interested in socializing with your cililization because frankly, you are a race of savages. However, we will help you out with our technology but you must get your act together. Here are the things you need to do . . . . ”

Just a wildass theory, but who knows!

    • Pat McKown says:

Not so wild really, Charley. Considering all the strange things that have happened in the last two decades publicly. The bad behavior on the part of domestic institutions and leaders has probably set some new precedents for American history, alone. The logic if any, is reminiscent of Alice’s rabbit hole. I think some members of our tribe that may pass for us are truly savages, but they are not in anyway the majority or even representative our generally sweet nature. The people who remind us of our faults from where ever they hale, also commonly have abused us or are abusing us in some fashion or willing to abuse us. Abusing humanity is counter productive to our survival. We have had enough abuse already. I look at them in these businesses of degrading humanity and wonder are they even conscious?

Then again we would come up against those who control the power and want to use the technology for their own advantage. Being Top Dog is too far ingrained in some humans ……. You and l know, that we are an equal to someone in another country or someone across the street, we all grow up depending on our location and teachings from birth ……..
There will always be someone, who wants to control, and to dominate
Look at at our worlds history, never has there been a year since written records began, that there has no conflicts or a war raging somewhere in the world.
Then again, as food for thought ……. If one person had complete total control and total domination of everything in this world, I am sure they would get totally bored sooner or later ….. Just like a bored little boy, pulling wings off of a fly, just to see what happens, except in this day and age we have buttons to push.
Then again ……… I am not going to let macabre thoughts dwell in my mind, might go down to the shop and buy some yummy food that has been genetically modified for my sensory pleasure, and that may, in future generations cause some of my future Grandchildren to grow an arm out of their forehead.
That is ok though, I have been taught by today’s society of Big Corporations, that it is not the future generations I have to think about, it is how much money I can get for putting in my pocket to buy that huge wonderful house, to be the envy of everyone , ……. blah, blah blah.
I know you get the picture …… I know I do, and I loathe what l see.

I could rant for hours ……..

Phoneix Ariz. sightings in March1997, Stephenville Texas in Dec. 2008 and others are sign posts on the road spelling out what is ahead. There WILL be an event that will engineered by others who most likley will be a cooperation of us and ‘THEM’.

  • Charles Bryant says:

Here’s an article I just came across linked from the “Fark.com” website, that was published in the UK. It says that a paucity of new UFO sightings and continuing lack of proof is causing a lot of enthusiasts to lose interest in the subject and wondering if maybe it’s all a myth after all. Having myself just finished John Alexander’s book, in which he debunks the Roswell incident, I must admit it bothers me too! After all, for photographic evidence, we are left with not much more than the McMinnville Oregon pics, and the Rex Heflin photos but no new convincing images — which should be available in great numbers due to the vast number of digital cameras and cellphones out there. Of course, the irony is that if a photo looks to good, it is judged to be fake. However, I remain a believer (hate that word because it sounds like religion) otherwise I would have to label a lot of intelligent and qualified people as delusional. The comments after the article are rather interesting too – representing both sides of the issue. Anybody got any thoughts on this?
