Excerpt: Conclusion of RMD’s “The Cover-Up Exposed, 1973-1991″
The first few paragraphs of the Conclusion of UFOs and the National Security State: The Cover-Up Exposed, 1973-1991. by Richard M. Dolan (Keyhole Publishing, 2009) 638 p.
The evidence is conclusive: an intelligent UFO phenomenon beyond the control of our civilization existed during the period under review of this study. Documented military encounters alone ran into the hundreds, many of which have been included here. Hundreds more “fastwalkers” were recorded by the Defense Support Program (DSP) satellite system, including an exact match with the famous Tehran incident of 1976. Regardless of the actual source of the UFOs themselves, it is undeniable that they triggered a significant response by military agencies around the world. This fact alone warrants the most meticulous scrutiny by responsible researchers.
The military dimension was only one side of it, however. Vastly greater numbers of ordinary people had experiences for which their concept of reality had not prepared them. In the face of such overwhelming shocks, comfortable certainties quickly broke down. Whether it was a car passenger screaming in terror, a person haunted by nightmares from an apparent abduction, a disillusioned citizen who learned that her government was indifferent to her unexplained encounter, or simply the lasting shock to a witness from something that was supposed to be impossible, the UFO phenomenon forced people to pick up the pieces of their shattered worldviews.
Unfortunately, they were usually constrained to do so privately. No matter how dramatic their experience or disturbing the aftermath, disbelief and ridicule accompanied anyone indiscreet enough to talk about their experience in public, often with negative professional repercussions. So it was that ordinary people who had undergone the most incredible and sometimes traumatic event of their lives were left to cope in the most unsatisfactory, atomized, way possible.
That the major institutions of society have not fought for the truth on this matter seems at first baffling. However, if one considers the awesome nature of the phenomenon itself, the transformative power inherent in the knowledge of something so vastly different, and the probable disruption to established institutions that would occur in the event of its disclosure, perhaps it is not so surprising, after all. On the contrary, it is easy to see how exceptional measures would be deemed necessary to deal with it. In a relatively open, republican system of government, it posed a serious problem. A way had to be found to keep the system alive while creating another, increasingly separate, system that would be empowered to deal with the extraordinary intrusion of “others” into our world. This would be especially so if human authorities determined the “others” were manipulating global geopolitics for their own non-human agendas, a possibility that any responsible government would need to investigate.
In such a circumstance, only one of two things can happen. The President, or some other legally constituted authority, would make a statement informing the world of the reality of UFOs and “aliens.” The world would then go through its obligatory baptism by fire. Various governments would need to explain not only the whys of UFO secrecy, but the hows. This would undoubtedly get into matters of the construction and funding of the black budget, and very likely would lead into areas in which citizens might wish to engage in legal actions of all sorts. The implications for the petroleum, steel, and electronics industries could well be catastrophic, assuming that better versions of each are inherent in the UFO matrix of reality. No doubt many other major industries would be similarly affected. Thus, the short-term repercussions would be a problem of the greatest magnitude.
The other scenario would be an ever-deepening code of silence. If it were decided that the post-disclosure ride would be too rough, the outcome too uncertain, then absolute secrecy would have to be maintained. But how? In a world in which free inquiry ostensibly reigns, where thousands of major universities, newspapers, and news media outlets compete to inform the general public, could long-term secrecy be possible? The answer is that it could be, if the right relationships were established with leading academic and media sources. Key figures within those industries would serve as the sheep dogs, charged with keeping the rest of the herd together. Meanwhile, with virtually limitless black budgets and little meaningful oversight, the secret surrounding UFOs could go deeper and deeper, developing into a strict policy of denial on all ET-related matters in the interest of national security. Lies could even become operational priorities, while truth becomes a threat….
RMD Interview with Jannecke Øinæs
While in Norway, I did an interview with the Norwegian actress Jannecke Øinæs. This was an engaging discussion, and I talked about several things I have not discussed (much) elsewhere. http://wisdomfromnorth.com/richard-dolan-ufo-phenomenon-2/
9/11: Eleven Years Into the Nightmare
Well, it’s the eleventh anniversary of the disaster that has befallen the United States, and indeed the world. Having spent a few days in North Central Europe has shown me has far the U.S. has fallen.
There is no question that Americans are continuing to lose their basic rights, and all for what? Even IF one choses to believe the U.S. government’s official story of 9/11 (which I will never do), the creation of such a sprawling Homeland Security/National Security State can never be justified. To say nothing of the spending of billions upon billions of dollars to create drones that kill innocent people around the world.
What has happened to the country I was born and raised in? What has happened to America? She has been hijacked by the most evil, rapacious, hell-bound cabal in our world. That’s what has happened to her. No matter how dark our times get, we must never give up trying to save her.
Do UFOs Even Matter?
Here’s a question for you. Do UFOs even matter any more?
After all, there are many things going on in our world that demand our attention. If we open our favorite news source on the Web, watch TV news, or just talk to an intelligent friend, there is more than enough news crammed in there to occupy our attention. Sure, much of what passes for news is completely useless, little more than trivial celebrity gossip or worse. Still, more than enough of it is serious.
We have a world that is spiraling out of control.
Warfare, political unrest, and armed factions around the world continue to kill millions worldwide, while leaving scarred landscapes and ecosystems in the wake.
We face ecological disasters of ever-greater magnitudes. Water depletion and desertification are not going away. The oceans are stressed to the point where scientists are worried about their ability to continue supporting the abundance of life they have done for millions of years. Plus, over-fishing has caused the collapse of many key species of ocean fish. A little fact to take home with you: over 70 percent of the world’s fish species are either fully exploited or depleted. There’s deforestation: enough said. We face ongoing food crises and species extinction rates that are alarming.
As if that were not bad enough, we are in a global financial crisis that can well last beyond this decade, and that is according to the mainstream economic experts, which is much more optimistic than many other voices. A few national economies have become insolvent, and many others teeter at the edge, including the world’s largest economy, the United States.
Then there is the spectre of globalization, worldwide control over our resources and lives by privately-owned, internationally-based corporations, and the continued outsourcing of jobs from one part of the world to another.
And please let us not forget the spectre of a global police state, of global fascism. Don’t say this is alarmist. Without a vote, without even a discussion, privacy has become a thing of the past. You may not be able to access every email you’ve ever written, but the National Security Agency’s new Utah Data Collection Center can. Perhaps you can stroll over there and ask for your 2003 emails. If you do, you would most likely be told that such information is classified as a matter of national security.
We live in a world in which basic rights for all global citizens — including for Americans, who always thought they were immune — are vanishing. Truly, we now live within a National Security State.
Perhaps, you might think, with all this going on, aren’t UFOs and Little Grey Men the least of our worries?
Well, I am here to tell you that UFOs do matter. Just as the above problems matter, so does this one.
For UFOs represent a problem quite unique in our world, and one that is truly revolutionary.
As yourself, what is it that can allow an aerial object to hover motionlessly, accelerate instantly like a bullet, zigzag or maneuver in other seemingly impossible ways, and consistently outperform military fighter jets that try to intercept them? Objects which, moreover, have been able to disable many of our key electronics and technologies, seemingly with ease?
What is the science that allows for such a thing? What might be the source of energy of these objects? And if they do not originate from our own civilization, who are these other beings and how the heck did they get here? How could any of this be possible?
There are important political questions, as well. After all, if this is real, would that mean there is a cover-up? And even if we don’t know for sure whether or not there is one, shouldn’t we investigate the possibility? I mean really investigate it, not simply accept curt dismissals and denials by government talking heads.
If were to turn out that there is a cover-up (which, um, yes there is), we ought to be asking ourselves how it might possibly work. After all, there are so many nations, so much communication via the Web. Could it really be possible to keep this secret? Or is it a situation in which the secret isn’t so much kept as managed?
And the other beings that presumably are involved in this phenomenon. We can extrapolating their reality not only from the existence of UFOs themselves (although that’s certainly reasonable to do), but through the many, many stories of contact that people have claimed to have had with non-human beings associated with UFOs. Admittedly such stories don’t constitute proof. But there are just so many of them. So many. What might it mean that highly intelligent beings are here, interacting with us in some way on Planet Earth?
There are larger issues relating to UFOs, as well. For I have come to believe that studying the UFO phenomenon enables us, as it were, to pry open some doors to a world that has been closed off to all but a very few.
In the process, a proper understanding of UFOs may very well help us to understand ourselves, to understand our destiny, and, quite possibly, to save ourselves.

Predictions: The Bane of the Alternative Media
Predictions: The Bane of the Alternative Media
The 2012 Olympics have come and gone. Fanfare in, fanfare out, some amazing athletic performances, and a whole mess of product positioning left behind.
Despite the mini-rant I gave on my radio show on July 28 on why I hated the Olympics so much, I don’t really hate the Olympics. I admire the athletes from around the world who train so hard and compete so incredibly.
And I did glean bits of the Olympics here and there on TV. Of course, the athletes were amazing. Usain Bolt is clearly superhuman. Anthony Joshua gave a nice come-from-behind effort to win the gold in boxing. The U.S. Women’s basketball team has officially become legendary, winning their fifth Olympic gold medal in a row. On the last day, I caught some gymnastics and wrestling, and all of the athletes looked just astounding.
What I simply can’t stand is the endless hype. The marketing, advertising, product positioning, fanfare, and hoopla that is so over-the-top. As great as the athletes are, the surrounding hype is even more obnoxious. I know, I know, you’ve got to pay the bills and I’m being a killjoy. Whatever.
But the reason I am writing about the Olympics is for a different reason altogether. It is because from the viewpoint of what we like to call the alternative media, nothing happened.
And what was supposed to happen, you may ask? Well, unless you have had your head glued to mainstream news for the last four years, you have heard some of the predictions, repeated with variations from countless so-called “inside sources,” that there was supposed to be a Major Event during the 2012 Olympics. I admit I haven’t researched every aspect of this, but it appears to have derived from the late Rik Clay, and then was grafted onto the concept of the alleged Project Blue Beam, or other False Flag ideas.
Simply put, the 2012 Olympics were supposed to feature a phony alien invasion that was designed to scare the hell out of you so that you would acquiesce into accepting an overt global fascism. The primary day for this apparently was supposed to be Saturday, August 4. A great holographic display of an ET mothership (or, depending on your variation in this, Jesus, Satan, or whomever) was supposed to appear and, one supposes, people were simply going to check their brains and accept it all.
I have always thought this idea to be untenable. The false alien invasion meme is a joke, always has been. Try imagine the logistics of pulling something like that off. If you thought 9/11 was a big one, that’s nothing compared with this. I discussed some of my objections to such a Project Blue Beam scenario here, when (once again) such predictions were running rampant and leading people in circles.
Now, it’s not that there aren’t false flag events. Anyone who has read or listened to me in the past knows that I believe these things happen. So, regarding the Olympics, there were a few more realistic scenarios offered, such as a false “terrorist” attack occurring, something really big, like on the order of 9/11, which would further cement our growing global nastiness. On the face of it, I could believe something like that, so long as there is actual evidence supporting it, which in this case there was not.
By the way, not all predictions for the Olympics were doom and gloom. On the positive side of things, we were told that it would signal the appearance of a positive extraterrestrial presence here on Planet Earth. As the great day of August 4 approached, however, we saw people hedging their bets: it might be possible that nothing seemed to happen, but in fact the portal was to open that day, and now, any time after August 4, the benevolent extraterrestrials might indeed show themselves openly to us.
Thus, the Olympics were supposed to introduce a new Heaven or a new Hell, each with a healthy array of variations being offered. Of course, I should not leave out the marketing-offered-as-prediction by UFO author and media figure Nick Pope who, it turns out, was simply promoting a new alien invasion game by Nintendo.
I know that I am not the only person who finds all these predictions beyond annoying. It’s one thing to want to garner some headlines and love (and maybe, if you’re really lucky, some marketing/consulting fees), but it’s another thing to pollute a field that, quite frankly, can’t take any more pollution than it already has. And it’s another thing, moreover, to write predictive pieces that are inevitably wrong, that waste the time of researchers who are inevitably asked to chime in on such ridiculous assertions, and which (not least of which) create a culture of fear on the one hand and false hope on the other.
No one is served by these predictions except those who make them. They are, literally, self-serving. And even that is only in the short-term. For in the long run, can the purveyors of such useless predictions really be said to benefit? They harm the community they are claim to inform and they harm their reputation. Ultimately, I believe, they harm themselves at a deeper level. You can’t be the boy who cries wolf year after year without it taking a toll on you.
There is a lesson, of course. In a world in which the mainstream media fails repeatedly and by its nature to educate and engage the public, it is our job as responsible world citizens to look for evidence and facts, to analyze matters carefully, and — at all times — to use caution. This includes looking for possible answers and scenarios that differ from those you currently believe.
After all, no one is infallible. We all make mistakes. Caution and prudence in all matters is a good thing, not a bad thing. Especially in making predictions, which have become the bane of the alternative community and alternative media.
The ramp up to the Olympics was bad enough. We are already besieged by predictions for December 21, 2012, and more will be coming to a website near you. My advice: keep your head firmly fastened to your neck.
